Claims / Claims inventory
One queue, and nothing sitting in it unowned
Every claim in the operation, in one inventory, with assignment already run and licensing already respected.
An inventory is only useful if it is the whole truth. Four intake doors feeding one list is what makes it that.
See a real inventoryHow long does a new claim wait for an owner?
It does not. Auto-assignment runs at creation across every intake route and only considers adjusters licensed in the loss state, so a claim created at 4:40pm has an owner before close of business rather than sitting in a queue overnight.
Assignment and triage
How work reaches a person
- 01
Assignment runs at creation
Not on a nightly job, not when somebody opens the queue. At the moment the claim exists.
- 02
Licensing filters candidates
An unlicensed adjuster is not a candidate, so the queue never produces an assignment that has to be undone.
- 03
The queue holds exceptions
The assignment queue exists for what could not be assigned automatically and for supervisor reassignment — in practice it stays near-empty.
- 04
Deadlines are visible book-wide
Every claim’s statutory clock across the whole operation on one page, so an aging deadline is triage rather than a discovery.
What a supervisor sees
The inventory as a management surface
The same list that adjusters work is the list supervisors manage from, which removes the usual gap between the operational view and the reporting view.
| View | What it carries |
|---|---|
| Claims inventory | Every claim, filterable, with status, severity and owner |
| Assignment queue | Unassigned and reassignment candidates, licensing-aware |
| Compliance deadlines | Every clock across the operation |
| SLA dashboard | Service levels against the client agreement |
| Adjuster performance | Volume, cycle time, reserve accuracy, closure rate |
Assignment is a starting point
Automatic assignment removes the wait. It does not know everything a supervisor knows.
Workload is not judgment
The platform assigns by rule and license. A supervisor who knows an adjuster is buried reassigns, and that change is recorded.
Complexity is scored, not known
Severity and complexity models suggest. Whether a file needs the senior examiner is a person’s call.
One inventory needs one operation
If your teams work in genuinely separate books with separate rules, that is configuration work at onboarding rather than a default.
